At Ingenjörsbyrå Kronqvist, we believe in growth, and we are looking for motivated designers to join our team. Our planning department currently consists of a dynamic team of 15 people working with planning and design. We have a broad customer base, which means we constantly work on a variety of exciting projects.
Our main market area is the coastal region of Ostrobothnia, between Kokkola and Närpes, but we also have projects in other locations across Finland. We primarily work in 3D and have access to the latest planning tools. Teamwork is one of our key success factors, and we also collaborate beyond the company’s boundaries.

We are looking for two designers – one for our Jakobstad-Nykarleby team and one for our Vaasa team.
Position 1: Designer in a leading role – Vaasa
The Vaasa market area is a strategically important growth location for our engineering firm.
Therefore, we are looking for a motivated designer who wants to develop and grow into a key role. You need to be able to combine technical expertise with project and client responsibility. Sales and quotation calculations will also be part of your responsibilities. Fluency in both Finnish and Swedish is a requirement.
The work tasks are varied, and you will have significant freedom to help develop the business. In addition to being a designer, you will also have a leading role in the team, working closely with our project managers. You will also be responsible for projects and client relationships.
You should have at least five years of experience as a designer, and experience with Tekla Structures or similar 3D tools is required.

Position 2: Designer – Jakobstad/Nykarleby
We are looking for someone with a background as a construction engineer or similar and who wants to take the next step in their career. In this role, you will work with building and structural planning as well as dimensioning. We highly value experience with Tekla Structures or similar 3D tools. Fluency in Swedish and/or Finnish is considered an asset.

Our specialized team is called Detecta and has a very broad competence when it comes to performing technical investigations and demanding clean-ups. The competence within the team is used extensively throughout the Group, both in terms of building and construction planning.
